Pro Clean™ Micro Sampling Inserts

Pro Clean Micro sampling vial inserts can be used with screw top, crimp top, or snap top vials. For maximum sample recovery and easier sample removal, micro sampling vial inserts are the choice, when used in conjunction with 12 x 32 mm autosampler vials. They are available in both GLASS and PP (polypropylene) materials.

Glass is the traditional choice. However, polypropylene inserts are recommended for ionic samples, biological samples, pH-sensitive samples etc, because of the material? inertness.

Tanzan introduces three different styles of inserts from Pro Clean brand:

1) Conical Insert with Spring

The plastic spring with the Conical insert acts as a shock absorber, minimizing damage to the autosampler needle. This also raises the sample up inside the vial during needle penetration, which maximizes sample recovery.

2) Conical Insert without Spring

The plastic spring with the Conical insert acts as a shock absorber, minimizing damage to the autosampler needle. This also raises the sample up inside the vial during needle penetration, which maximizes sample recovery.

2) Shell style Insert

Shell style inserts, an economical inserts available, and they provide a larger sample capacity (up to 350 µL) than conical inserts. However, their flat bottom design yields less efficient sample recovery than a conical insert.

Details of the volumes of Inserts available

Volume capacities from 200 µL to 500 µL are available with respective style of inserts.
